Our expertise focuses on remodeling projects to ambitious new construction. The common thread across all our work is Makoski Construction’s dedication to understanding, exploring and bringing our clients’ dreams to life. This type of client collaboration has produced results that have not only been featured in national trade publications (such as Lake Erie Living, Cleveland Magazine, Design/Build, Arts and Crafts, and Builder/Architect) but has, more importantly, created homes our clients love.

We accomplish this through personal attention to each project. Frank A. Makoski, company founder and president, handles all facets of construction, including visiting job sites daily, scheduling the construction process, financing, and personally handling all customer contact. He has created a team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trade alliances (most have been with him for over 15 years) working together with total commitment to quality, workmanship and design.

Bio:

Frank A. Makoski, CGR, CGP, CAPS, a custom home builder since 1976, is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Cleveland (BBB), the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Home Builder’s Association of Cleveland (HBA), the Ohio Home Builders Association (OHBA), NAHB Remodeler’s Council, and the National Association of the Remodelers Industry (NARI).  Makoski has also earned NAHB education designations as a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Green Professional (CGP),  Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS), and  has won numerous awards including the most prestigious NAHB Cadre Award, The OHBA statewide “Best Exterior Renovation,” Cleveland Choice Awards  for the “Judges Choice Award of Excellence,” “Best Architectural Custom Home of the Year,” “Best Kitchen Renovations” and “Best Interior Renovations” for three consecutive years, and has been awarded the HBA’s “Presidential Recognition Award” for his participation in creating the first HBA Remodelers Warranty.
